You shouldn't expect something of super high quality, but it will perform its function adequately.
It arrived packed only in bubble wrap. There is a strap. The plastic of the container itself is not super thick...there are dents.

I recently purchased one of these from a marketplace other than this and unfortunately it never worked well so when purchasing this one i was surprised by how much better it was not only is the bottle made with a strong plastic the top section is extremely durable too my dog had no issues taking to it either and loves her new water stop

As described, very practical. Do not put in the dishwasher except for cold washing.
